The ODACA Privacy Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to the purpose and philosophy of the Original Artists Council of America with the highest level of integrity. The Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how ODACA collects, uses and safeguards any personal information you provide to ODACA and to assist you in making informed decisions when visiting the ODACA website and when registering for our services. This statement will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and the needs of ODACA.

The ODACA web site contains information and materials, including, but not limited to, text, photos, and graphics which are published on the ODACA web site. Artist doll photos are provided for use from ODACA artists for the purpose of educating and informing the public of the artists' creative work. Photos and materials on this site are provided from information and materials supplied by ODACA and ODACA artists and other sources, and are protected by international copyright, trademark and other laws. The entire content of the ODACA web site is copyrighted as a collective work under the United States Copyright Laws. ODACA owns the copyright in the overall selection, coordination, arrangement and enhancement of such content. Individual ODACA artists own their individual copyright on individual dolls and the doll photographs published on this website. Photos and text materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, modified, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way or decompiled, reverse engineered or disassembled, including but not limited to the text, artist photos, images, except that you may download copies of our printable PDF registration informational forms provided for such use. This limited authorization is not a transfer of title in any photos published on this website. By your use of this website you acknowledge that you do not acquire any license, ownership or other rights to materials published herein. Use of any artist doll photos without the express written permission from the original ODACA artist is considered a violation of copyright laws.

Email Information
If you choose to correspond further with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone. The information you provide is used solely to notify you of upcoming events, and to ensure your registration for whatever services or activities you have requested. Email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security or credit card information to us through an unsecured email.

Sharing Information
We do not share information with any company or organizations outside of those companies which are a part of, and involved with ODACA without the expressed permission from the people or company involved. If we receive a request for an address or email, we will contact the person for whom the request is made and have them contact the person requesting the information.

The only information ODACA obtains about individual visitors to our website is information supplied voluntarily by the visitor. This means that you can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. ODACA does not track where you go on our website, so you never receive unsolicited emails from ODACA or ODACA artists. To gauge the effectiveness of our website, we do collect some non-individually-identifiable generic information about our visitors. Our web servers automatically recognize a visitor's domain name (such as .com, .edu, etc.), the web page from which a visitor enters our site, which pages a visitor visits on our site, and how much time a visitor spends on each page. This information does not reveal a visitor's identity. ODACA aggregates this information and uses it to evaluate and improve our website.

PayPal Transactions
PayPal processes all transactions for any payments made online. The account processing is done by PayPal directly. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. ODACA does not maintain a copy of any financial transaction information on its servers.

When you send confidential personal financial information to PayPal, a secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to PayPal. Please read PayPal policies and procedures.

Purchasing online with PayPal
If you choose to purchase an ODACA membership, an ODACA sponsored workshop or critique, a ODACA Day Luncheon or Breakfast with ODACA reservation from ODACA or our partners, you may need to give personal information and authorization to obtain information from PayPal services. For example, you may need to provide the following information:

  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Home and business phone number
  • Other personal information

This information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete
